Diploma in Unani Medicine: Year 2 (Clinical Practice)
Course Overview
During the clinical year, students will be afforded an invaluable opportunity to work with actual clients and acquire the necessary skills to deliver effective care. Each case will be thoroughly discussed with the student and the class, and students will be instructed on the importance of attentiveness and active listening during client interactions. Students will be responsible for taking cases from inception through completion, including reading the pulse and iris and prescribing appropriate herbal treatments. Moreover, students will be trained on the preparation of Unani single and compound formulations, a critical aspect of providing holistic care. It is important to note that classes will be conducted in-person exclusively, emphasising the significance of hands-on experiential learning.
