Foundation Diploma in Unani Medicine
Course Structure:
What will you learn in the Foundation Course in Unani Medicine?
The course includes eight modules. Each module will be introduced through formal lectures, followed by group discussions and presentations.
Modules 1 to 5: Historical background, temperament, humours, Unani elements and organs.
Students will be divided into small groups to apply the theory and to enhance and embody core aspects of Unani medicine.
The programme will include a total of 120 learning hours and 40 contact hours.
Modules 6 to 8: Unani diagnostic-based modules where students will learn and apply the study of pulse, and iridology.
Students will be divided into small groups to apply and practice the study of pulse and Iridology on each other in order to enhance, embody, and understand the implementation of diagnostic skills.
